3 Months Old Today!

I can't believe our little girl is already 3 months old. She has changed sooo much over the past month. She is smiling and laughing all the time now. She actually laughed out loud about a week ago and Chad and I were both there to hear it. It was the best sound I have ever heard! Everyday Jack Meredith is getting closer and closer to rolling over. Every little thing she does is so exciting to me. She is fascinated by her toes. She loves to watch them move. It is just too cute!

I went back to work last week, but not on my regular shift. I am in blood bank for 4 weeks on day shift from 6-2:30. I hate getting up every morning at 4:30! It is hard on me and Chad. It's not for that long.....so, I am trying to be optimistic. I miss being at home with her more than I thought I would. We were finally getting a schedule down and then poof, it has all changed. Jack Meredith is sleeping through the night now. She falls asleep anywhere from 9-9:30 and sleeps until around 6 or 7 in the morning. We are soooo lucky and we pray this continues :)

Thats all for now because I need to get my butt in bed! Jill :)

Hope you like the 3 month photos of the little skittle

Two little girls in diapers

Ha! I never thought I would have two little girls in diapers at once. Well, of course Jack Meredith.....and now Penny Lane! Yup, my little pup is growing up. She started her heat cycles a couple of days ago. Chad keeps asking when it is going to be over because he is tired of all the male dogs humping his legs at the houses he delivers to :) I thought that was too funny!!! This was just a quickie, but check out these super funny pics!

Teething already!?!?!

Jack Meredith had her 2 month doctors appt. a few days ago and weighed in at 11lbs and 7oz. and she is 22 inches long. She is a growing little girl!!! She is getting sooo big sooo quickly. Plus, she has decided to move things along a little faster and start teething early. I feel so bad for her because she is too little to hold a teething ring for comfort. She has been teething for almost 2 weeks now, but so far no teeth have popped yet. She is finally starting to grow out of some of her newborn outfits. That is exciting for me because now I can finally dress her in some of her adorable little dresses that have been too big.

We had her first real gameday with her this past weekend. Her OU outfits are still too big for her. So, Momma made a sacrifice and let Daddy dress her in a Texas outfit. Even in that burnt orange she still looks precious :)

This morning I had her sitting on my tummy while I was laying down. She is always such a happy baby in the mornings. She is starting to reach for things now and she was attempting to reach for her tootsie toes. She grabbed them a couple of times. We had a good 45 minutes of play time while she just smile and cooed. I can't believe I have to go back to work next week. 12 weeks has just flown by and I don't know where all the time has gone. Well, thats all for now. I need to rock my little skittle to sleep!

Here we go!

I decided to start this blog to keep all of our friends and family up to date with what is going on in our world. As most of you know, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on June 23rd, 2008. Jack Meredith weighed 7.5 lbs and was 19.5 inches long. She has a head full of beautiful dark hair and is as pretty as can be!!! We love her so much and are so happy to start our little family. I will try to post as often as I can and keep everyone in the know about our little skittle. Love you all, Jill Chad and Jack Meredith (Penny Lane too!!!)
